It's too bad about Viktor. I liked his design too. :\
He was Maple's alien form xD
Bofuri, right? Lol. I seriously hope they cast both him and Gerard better in the English Dub.
more like venom really.
Lol, I replied the same not knowing someone had already replied about it.
No that definitely from the movie Aliens wasn't it?
This is what happens when two battle junkies meet. An unstoppable force meets an unbreakable object. Then they either attempt to occupy the same spot, or merging. Or merge in another way. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
they wanted to make sure we didn't miss that, so they had referenced it 4 times in this episode xD
That djinn scrimmage transformation looked so CLEAN
Had to rewind it to look at it again XD
So sad :(
He looked like Maple in her demon form lol.
He would definitely intimidate others a lot more than Gerard.
Victor's design was actually the demon design I loved the most as the stylist among all the anime I've watched.
I guess it's a nice plot for his character showing absolute loyalty only to his lord and refuse to serve anyone else.
you're not the only one. his overall design inspired me into a new idea for my art
Yea, i really liked Victor and he seemed to really love the princess. I kinda wish he had just healed Vic anyway and said, you dont have to serve me, be my companion and stay with Sara
I think it was pure loyalty, not love. Besides in the manga they showed that Victor was also someone who loved to battle.
And considering what later happens in the manga, i think the demon lord is evil (they didn't mention this in the manga about this DL tho). Sera probably is like this because of circumstances and because she understand things are different.
Viktor had something that no one in real life has is loyalty
Viktor's a chad.
someone needs to do the phone walk meme with viktor
Also, its good to see you again Astolfo! Miss animekisa
i really wished that Victor will join them,he was too nice to be lost...who knows maybe some plot twist and he join his team.
I suggest you read the best comics, too. That's great.✌✌️:

Sad spam, bot.
I’m surprised Viktor’s intentions turned out to be good. Definitely had me fooled.
It’s too bad he refused to become Kelvin’s subordinate, because he would’ve made for one hell of a summon.
And seems like he could have been the butler to compliment Efil being the maid with how he raised Sera.
nahh.. we already have an OP butler. *sebas*
How about "Diablo" from tensura slime...?!!
diablo isnt really a butler...
yeah, he plays Sebas nicely
I just noticed, when you reverse the name Efil, u get Life
XD
and the opposite of life = DEATH!
Yeah, that's a real battle junkie for you.
Anyone who hurt Efil shall receive DEATH XD
Technically, death is the absence of life- not its opposite, just like shadow is the absence of light and fear is the absence of courage; evil is the absence of good; sickness is the absence of health; decay is the absence of integrity etc.
To be truly an 'opposite' it must be on equal standing consisting of its own substance...not the lack thereof as in the given examples.
Sir.
Life and Death are opposites.
Light and Dark are opposites.
Good and Evil are opposites.
It is the law of polarity.
Shadow is not an opposite of light nor is it as simple as something absent of light. A shadow is an image cast by an object intercepting light.
It's always human who is the bad guy in this kind of story.
Well, we don't know how many humans a demon lord had to have killed to achieve his position... But from the eyes of a loyal vassal demon, the "heroes" are depicted in a villainous role.
I feel ya, I would expect that originally things were different, but that material gets old eventually and just like all new material it's now become the "new classic" anime trope set... just like now it's always the church that is the enemy, or angels that are the villains, or the beast/animal people that are enslaved, (I'm seriously tired of some of these tropes and others btw, just speaking for myself) etc....
These are all such common tropes, it's become like getting french fries with a hamburger, sure you COULD be served a bowl of stew or a side of turkey legs,(these and a host of others were actually available sides at one time believe it or not) and there are probably some places that would still do that, just like there are some animes that take more creative routes, but it's not often anymore.
You've probably noticed that when something is a hit after it's introduction, you get umpteen-zillion variations on the same theme, because if it works once, then why not milk it until the nipples fall off of it? XD
But seriously, when you get right down to it, there are some upsides to it, and every now and then you get a variation that shines with enough creativity to start a whole new set of tropes that will be copied and so on and so forth, so technically anime is still ever evolving, just sometimes it takes a bit longer than most of us would like.
Whatever the case may be though, whether I enjoy a particular anime or not, I still feel a sense of gratitude and appreciation to the artists, writers, and production team and pretty much all the people that work themselves weary to make an anime happen because most of them are just doing the best they can and whether they believe in a particular storyline or not, they work their butt off doing what they do and that's something you have to respect. What's more is we get to watch it for free and it enriches our lives, so it's like a gift in many ways and even if at the time you don't like the pair of socks your aunt bought you, you should still be thankful that she cared enough to get you something and chances are the day will come when you're glad you have them around! XD
Whenever someone too powerful appears and want to conquer the world, it is always the demon and humanity band together to fight them. Make them look like bad guy.
I want to see an anime where it was a human king who manipulated the humanity thinking the Demon Lord[he wants only peace] wants to conquer the world just to remove his most powerful obstacle. The Demon King and his army fled to safety and when the human king shows his real face, corrupt the hero and his party members, making them to serve him as his champions. That's when the Demon King decided to take the chance to slay the human king who ruined the land of his people.
It would be great to make the human and demon switches place once in a while. Demon King become hero and hero's soul get corrupted. That human king as the mastermind. Turns few of the human nations to ally Demon King against the tyrant human king.
Dude thats such a common troupe
Maoyu aka 'Archenemy & Hero' it has already been done.
Yes, something like that. I love that anime.
That's rimuru slime story.. human from another world wants to conquer and the demon lord, in this case rimuru and some others, are good
Actually, not the kind of Demon Lord role that everyone can be. But, the real "demon" Demon Lord. Demon race.
Viktor would've been a nice person to have around 🥲. Nice to finally see the outside world for the first time. Have a feeling Sera will try to make peace between demons and humans after experiencing how lively it is with her own eyes
